As the nation’s 6th largest community-owned electric utility, Sacramento Municipal Utility District provides reliable, affordable electricity to most of Sacramento and Placer Counties.
SMUD is recognized for its innovative energy efficiency programs and renewable power technologies. As part of their continued innovation plan, SMUD was looking for a supplier to assist with their Service Now implementation project. Navitas Partners was awarded MSA contract to supply both professional services and staff augmentation services to SMUD. Contract is awarded for 3-year period. For this project Navitas acts as the contractor to help on the services side with SMUD’s Service Now IT Leaders to better understand and prepare updates to their ServiceNow platform, such as – internal assessments of strategic business processes, ServiceNow configurations, KPI recommendations to gauge performance, ServiceNow governance initiation – and align the people, processes, and tools to achieve utilization success. With our Staff Augmentation Services, we are contracted to provide Temporary IT ServiceNow professionals who support the project, like ServiceNow Developers, Administrators, Analysts, Specialists and Engagement Managers.
Transportation/Transit Authority Industry - Temporary Staffing Services
Over the past four decades, Community Transit is the public transportation leader for the Puget Sound region in Washington State servicing more than half a million people in the area.

Navitas was awarded a contract with the Transit Authority to provide temporary personnel. Project includes the overall personnel management staffing services, including the recruitment and selection of sufficient personnel in various job categories to maintain a pool of qualified workers that will be continuously available to Community Transit; job positions include but not limited to, Administrative, Information Technology, Marketing, and Light Industrial. As part of the contract Navitas is responsible for the hiring and firing, performing sufficient proficiency testing, background and reference verification and all responsibility for the personnel administration of all temporary employees.
